Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has activated the online application link for the post of Constable (General Duty) and Rifleman (General Duty) today i.e. on 17 July 2021. All interested candidates possessing required eligibility can submit their SSC GD Application till 31 August 2021 by login into the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.gov.in. Candidates seeking to apply for SSC GD Constable 2021 should be 10th class passed. The age of the candidates should be between 18 years to 23 years (expected) . Candidates who successfully apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021 will be called for computer based SSC GD Constable Exam. SSC will soon release Constable GD Exam Dates. Earlier, SSC GD Constable Exam was scheduled to be held from 02 to 25 August 2021.

SSC GD Constable Age Limit
- Candidate is required to be between 18 to 23 years in order to be eligible for SSC GD 2021 Exam.
- The crucial date of age-limit will be calculated with reference to 01-08-2021.
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-08-1998 and later than 01-08-2002. Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules.
SSC GD Constable Selection Process
Stage 1 – SSC GD Constable Online Exam:
All candidates whose online applications are found to be in order will be called to appear in the Computer Based Examination (CBE).

- SSC GD application fee for male candidate is Rs 100. However, women/SC/ST/PwD/ESM candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

SSC GD 2021 Selection Process:
SSC GD Constable 2021 Exam will be conducted in four main steps:
- Written examination (Computer Based)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Medical Test
SSC GD 2021 Exam Pattern:
The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted by the Commission English/ Hindi Only. The test will be objective type test constituting of 4 sections. 25 questions are to be asked each carrying 1 marks. 0.25 marks will be deducted when a question is attempted wrong.
