Under this scheme, the Government grants a subsidy of INR 1,10,000 to the families on birth of the first girl child.

इस “व्हाली दीकरी योजना” के तहत गुजरात प्रदेश की गरीब परिवारों की बेटियाँ शिक्षा से वंचित न रहे इसके लिए इस योजना की शुरुआत की गई है,जिसके अंतर्गत उन्हें प्रोत्साहन राशि के रूप में वार्षिक 4000 रूपये लेकर 6000 रूपये तथा बेटी की उम्र 18 होने पर 1लाख की आर्थिक सहायता दी जायेगी ।
