મોદી સરકારે પ્રજાને ઈંધણના વધી રહેલા ભાવને લઈ મોટી રાહત જાહેર કરી છે. આ સાથે જ પેટ્રોલના લિટર દીઠ રૂપિયા 9.50 અને ડીઝલમાં રૂપિયા 7નો તોતિંગ ઘટાડો જાહેર કર્યો છે.આ ઘટાડો સેન્ટ્રલ એક્સાઈઝ ડ્યુટીમાં ઘટાડો કરી પ્રજાને રાહત આપવામાં આવી રહી છે. 

નાણાં મંત્રી નિર્મલા સીતારમણે કહ્યું કે અમે પેટ્રોલ પર સેન્ટ્રલ એક્સાઈઝ ડ્યૂટમાં લિટર દીઠ રૂપિયા 8 અને ડીઝલમાં રૂપિયા 6નો ઘટાડો કરી રહ્યા છીએ. તેને લીધે પેટ્રોલની કિંમત લિટર દીઠ રૂપિયા 9.5 અને ડીઝલ રૂપિયા 7 સસ્તુ થઈ જશે.

ગેસ સિલિન્ડર પર રૂપિયા 200 સબિસિડી ફરી શરૂ
આ સાથે સરકારે ગેસ સિલિન્ડર પર રૂપિયા 200નો ઘટાડો જાહેર કર્યો છે, એટલે કે સરકાર હવે ગેસ સિલિન્ડર પર રૂપિયા 200 સબસિડી આપશે.
