For the benefit of the government services to the youth of the state and environment, the state government is preparing an annual recruitment calendar and the recruitment is being phased out in which the state government has decided to fill the six places of the Forestry (Beatguard) of the Forest Department.

Eligibility Criteria for OJAS Gujarat Vanrakshak Jobs 2022
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:-
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC pass/ 12th pass) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or Institute.
- Must have complete knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi Language or both the languages.
- Must have a basic knowledge of Computer.
AGE LIMIT (as on 28th Nov, 2018):-
- Above 18 years & below 33 years is the age limit for Vanrakshak Bharti.
- The age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories, i.e. SC, ST, SEBC, etc., as per norms of the State Government.
Gujarat Forest Guard (Vanrakshak) Pay Scale/ Salary
- Rs. 19,950/- per month till first 05 (five) years after recruitment.
- Those who recruited will get a Pay Band of Rs. 05,200/- to Rs. 20,200/- along with Rs. 01,800/- Grade Pay and other allowances. Refer official notification for detailed information on scale of pay.
Forest Minister Shri Kirit Singh Rana
Forest Minister Shri Kiritsinh Rana and Minister of State for Forestry Shri Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma gave details to the media, saying that under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, this important decision has been made that the youth of the state get more and more government services.
The Minister added that the total number of seats of the forest guard (Beatguard) is directly recruited by the Forest Department's Class-I will be announced in the newspaper soon. The EP system will be applied to pay fees in order to save their valuables in the interest of the candidates during this recruitment process.

Minister Shri added that the state government has taken immediate decision in the interest of the youths and completed the recruitment test for administrative reasons, it has been decided to undertake a new recruitment process on the new vacancies. Beatguard is a very basic post for the defense and breeding of forests and wildlife. The government is confident that getting such a bitguard will help the protection of forests, wildlife and the upliftment of tribals living around the forest.

It was decided to complete the process of recruitment of these 3 places, the vacant bitguard, the new recruitment process on the recruitment of Class -II also decided to carry out the physical capacity test.
