Gujarat Election Results 2022 LIVE Updates: The ruling BJP in Gujarat is aiming for a straight seventh win in Assembly elections in the state, with hours left for counting of votes for elections held on December 1 and 5. While the contest in Gujarat has traditionally been between the BJP and Congress, it was three-cornered this time around with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) entering the poll arena. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the BJP poll campaign, addressing around 30 rallies and road shows in the state. The counting of votes will start at 8 am on December 8 (Thursday) at 37 counting centres covering the 182 Assembly seats.

The Election Commission of India will declare the Gujarat Assembly Election Result 2022 on 8th December 2022. The exit poll results for the Gujarat Assembly Election 2022 were announced on 5th December 2022, Monday. According to the exit poll, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) will win the election and will return with its seventh consecutive term in Gujarat.
It is predicted that the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) will win around 125 seats to 130 seats in Gujarat, expectedly. On the other hand, the Indian National Congress (INC) will get 30 seats to 40 seats, and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will expectedly get 3 to 5 seats.

Gujarat Election Results 2022 LIVE: BJP hoping to set new records in Gujarat
When votes get counted on Thursday for assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party will be hoping to set a few new records.
Victory in Gujarat will make it the only party other than the Communist Party of India (Marxist) to have won seven straight assembly elections. The CPI(M), which ruled West Bengal for 34 years from 1977 to 2011, had also won seven straight elections.
On the other hand, no party has won a back-to-back election in Himachal Pradesh after 1985. If the BJP manages to retain power in the hill state, that would be another record.

Download e-EPIC – Election Commission of India:
All general voters who have a valid EPIC Number. All new electors registered during special summary revision 2021 (i.e. those who applied during Nov-Dec2020) and whose mobile number provided while applying is unique will get an SMS and may download e-EPIC between January 25 and 31, 2021. Other general electors may download e-EPIC from February 1, 2021 onwards. (they will however not get any SMS).
The e-elector photo identity card is non-editable digital version of the elector photo identity card and it can be saved in facilities such as digital locker and can be printed in the PDF format, Election Commission officials said.

- Register/Login on Voter Portal : Click Here
- From menu navigation click on Download e-EPIC
- Enter the EPIC number or Form Reference Number
- Verify with OTP sent on registered mobile number (if mobile number registered with Eroll)
- Click on Download e-EPIC
- If Mobile number not registered in Eroll, click on e-KYC to complete the KYC
- Pass the Face liveness verification
- Update your mobile number to complete KYC
- Download e-EPIC

- Register/Login on NVSP.
- Enter EPIC Number or Form Reference Number.
- Verify the OTP sent on the registered mobile number.
- Click on Download e-EPIC.
